About promises

It wasn't until I first used the bra as a story canvas that I began to notice how bras are packaged with promises that are seductive, hypnotic, and often offensive. My strongest response is to the promise: 'loveable - women understand'. Do I have to wear this bra to be loveable? What is it that the manufacturer thinks I understand? This page is dedicated to the crazy promises used to market bras to women - and a response to each. You are invited to send in promises you find and you are also welcome to send in your own responses.

Subtle shaping 

I really do think that we are being shaped
I think the message has been subtle
But once you notice
It looses its subtlety 
I find it hard to buy a bra
That includes an offensive
Or ridiculous message
On its tags.
